History
Construction began on 21 September 1886 and was completed on 28 April 1889. San Lawrenz became an independent parish in 1893 and the church was consecrated on the same day its construction was completed.
What to look for
The church is a prominent limestone building at the centre of the village. Its titular statue was made by Louis Ramat and arrived from Marseille in 1895.
